Amaral

Statement

“On June 27 we will be in Hyde Park to celebrate Nelson Mandela’s 90th birthday. It is very important for us to be there because Nelson Mandela’s fight has been one in support of human rights – a battle that is necessary and sadly still an issue.”

About

Amaral emerged at the end of the 1990s in Zaragoza (Spain). The band, formed by Eva Amaral and Juan Aguirre, emerged from the underground scene to become one of the most important bands on the new Spanish rock scene with their special mix of rock, folk and Mediterranean rhythms.

The dynamic duo have released four albums: Amaral; Una Pequeña Parte del Mundo; Estrella de Mar, Pájaros en la Cabeza and Gato Negro-Dragón Rojo.
In 1998 the band moved to Madrid and soon everyone was talking about Amaral on the capital underground scene, thanks primarily to the energy of their gigs.
