In October 2007, 46664 partnered with Viva Hecate Productions  to take the educational play, Khululeka – It’s in our hands” to schools throughout Gauteng. Since then, Khululeka has been performed in over 500 schools in Gauteng reaching over 177 400 learners, and there are plans to take the play to schools in other provinces.

The play is based on the true stories of people who live with HIV/AIDS, and encourages young people to get tested, know their status, and break the silence that surrounds the disease. Relevant statistics about HIV/AIDS in South Africa are mentioned throughout the play.

Personal and poignant, Khululeka stresses the necessity of banishing the stigma of being HIV-positive through educating learners about the reality of HIV/AIDS.
