"We are honoured to be affiliated with a cause initiated by the greatest man alive, Mr. Nelson Mandela."
Their name suggests a strong bond, as it is taken from the first two letters of each of their names: Jacqui, Mariechan and Liesl. The trio that is Jamali is currently unleashing a proudly South African R&B sound that is taking them straight to the top of both radio and sales charts!

After their debut album went gold, there has been no stopping these three talented ladies.

Mixing up Zulu lyrics with English has turned several of the tracks from Jamali’s two albums into sure-fire radio hits – and the group’s ability to deliver lyrics and perform in a way that is startlingly good is likely to earn Jamali attention outside South Africa’s borders as well.

It’s all about great music, beautiful voices, pin-up looks and performing abilities that already put this group at the top of its game.

And now, as the girls are rapidly approaching platinum sales of their debut album, their highly anticipated second album, Yours Fatally, has hit South Africa’s shelves.

The album is loaded with hit singles including title track, “Yours Fatally”, girl-empowered “Secrets”, Swahili-influenced “Maisha” and “You Got Me”.

The girls give a stellar live performance at each and every sell-out show that’s packed with flawless choreography and harmonic vocals that is sure to get every single audience member on their feet.

After winning the award for Favourite Kwaito Music Group at the Star in You Kids awards, and being nominated for best newcomer at the 2005 South African Music Awards, the girls are ready to take South Africa, and the world, by storm!!

Jamali is an ever-evolving trio that goes from strength to strength with each passing year.
2006 was the year that they introduced 3 extremely talented dancers to their stage act----leaving their audiences wanting more each time!!
In 2006, they also got themselves “hooked up” with a seven-piece live band called “Afrotraxion” and in less than a month of this Jamali and Afrotraxion formation, word spread like wild fire and they were invited to be the only local PARTY BAND performing at Ms Oprah Winfrey’s New Year’s Eve celebration at Sun City.
Hundreds of Hollywood’s finest found themselves dancing uncontrollably to their sound as they brought they new year in for Oprah and her closest friends.

Their latest release earned them 3 nominations at this year’s South African Music Awards.
The new album with a special CD+DVD edition, Yours Fatally is in stores NOW and their dance cover of ‘Ain’t No Mountain High Enough’ is one of the highest played singles on radio currently.
